Abstract : This article explores how experience design, through a phenomenological and narrative approach (storytelling), transforms space into an emotional and immersive medium. By analyzing a scene from the Burton’s film « Alice in Wonderland », in 2010, and the creation of the installation « Tea Time », it demonstrates how architecture can evoke a « disorienting » sensory immersion. The study reveals that emotion is at the heart of spatial perception, thus redefining architectural design. Consequently, design becomes a strategic tool for creating architectural meaning.
