ABSTRACT: This study investigated the implementation of spiral progression approach in selected schools in Zambales. It employed qualitative method and conducted interviews to gather information about how spiral progression is applied in science classrooms, the challenges teachers face and the types of support they received. Findings reveal that teachers utilized technology-assisted, learner-centered strategies and incorporated responsive teaching practices such as remedial and enrichment resources to address students’ varying levels of readiness. The participants reported that the challenges faced are difficulties in teaching complex concepts, time constraints and limited content knowledge in specific Science field. Despite these challenges, teachers received various support such as motivation from school leaders, mentoring sessions and access to learning resources. To further enhance the effectiveness of using this approach , study recommends continuous professional development training focused on enhancing content knowledge of teachers and on equipping them with effective strategies for review and enrichment.
