ABSTRACT: This studyaims to identify and explain the image of Javanesewomen in the novelPanggil AkuKartini Saja by PramoedyaAnantaToer. This type of researchisresearchwith qualitative methods. Theapproachusedis the sociology of literatureapproach. The data used in thisresearchis data in the form ofquotesthatcanbestudiedaccording to the researchtopic, namely the image of Javanesewomen. The technique oftakingresearchsubjectswascarried out usingpurposivesampling. Data collection techniques using documentanalysis and interviews. Data analysis in thisstudyusedcriticaldiscourseanalysis techniques. The results ofthisstudyindicatethat: the image of Javanesewomen in the novelPanggil Aku Kartini Saja is 1) have a sense oflove to love others, 2) simple personality, being3) attentive with in-laws, and 4)having a penchant forreadingadvice. The four images represent images of Javanesewomenwhocanbeemulated by readers.
